Cooling Down
May 8th, 2008 • Related • Filed Under
After a long hour of strenuous exercises, you should do some cooling down exercises for at least 10 minutes before you take a rest. Although you might want to end right away and start doing other activities like viewing how your kids are through a Linksys G Internet video camera, you really have to take some time to cool down.
Why is cooling down important? It’s because it redistributes the blood that might have been pooled to the extremities when you end your workout. It also prevents muscle stiffness and it allows metabolic wastes to be worked out of your muscles.
